Bird Studies Canada (BSC) – Atlantic Region is seeking a skilled field biologist to assess habitat for swallows and Chimney Swifts beginning June 1, 2015 for 8 to 12 weeks. The candidate will be responsible for piloting presence/absence surveys and barn surveys for Chimney Swifts and swallow species in agricultural areas. The candidate will be based out of Bird Studies Canada’s Sackville, New Brunswick office and will be required to travel throughout the Tantramar region and Southwest Nova Scotia.
