The successful applicant will have a keen interest in owls and a good working knowledge of farmland birds and habitats. The role will require good inter-personal and written skills, computer literacy and a full clean driving licence. Certificates in working at height and trailer use would be advantageous.

Initially for a twelve month contract, the post will involve advisory work both in and out of the office, the erection of nestboxes using ladders, extensive database and website use as well as report writing, fieldwork and woodwork.
