We are seeking an exceptional candidate to support our new initiatives in coastal oceanography. The successful candidate will have proven experience of coastal ecosystems and oceanography, particularly focusing on the effect of natural and anthropogenic disturbances on oceanographic and biological processes. Specific interests could include the delivery, transport, deposition, and fate of substances within coastal environments, physico-chemical dynamics along the ridge-to-reef continuum, watershed to reef transport processes, and the impacts of climate change (ocean warming, acidification, nutrification, etc.) on coastal ecosystems. We are particularly interested in scientists who address large-scale questions through analysis and interpretation of data across spatial and temporal scale
