Red Rose Forest is pleased to offer an opportunity for a motivated graduate to benefit from 6 months work experience in the area of community forestry.

The placement will be carrying out a variety of office and site based work and activities. This will include woodland surveys, prescription and specification writing and map production on Arcmap GIS. By assisting the Woodlands Officer and other members of the team, they will also help with grant applications, report writing, site assessments and public events. At practical events, the APO will also assist with the supervision of volunteers. The Forest team has many different ongoing projects and the postholder will gain a good breadth of experience across many areas of community forestry.
