We are looking for an Assistant Warden to work on our chain of nature reserves in the Dearne Valley, based at RSPB Old Moor. We are looking for some one who is passionate and enthusiastic about nature conservation who will enjoy the challenge of managing a range of habitats, species monitoring and estate management.

Managed by the site warden, you will be part of a team that includes a number of day volunteers and two residential volunteers. Some practical skills will be required but training can be provided. You will carry out a range of surveys so some bird and natural history knowledge will be required. As a busy visitor site we also need some one who is happy to help us engage with the 100,000 visitors we see each year to our visitor hub at Old Moor.
