The associate provides program support to the project director, managers, officers and senior associates for the global shark conservation campaign. The position will report to the director, global shark conservation and is based in Washington, DC. This campaign is designed as a long term effort. It is expected that this position is for a term period through March 31, 2017, with the possibility of an extension pending the success of the program, funding sources and board decisions on continued support. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project director and other campaign staff in the development and implementation of campaign strategy across the three main areas of work: international policy, national protection measures and demand management.
