Position Summary: The Ecologist will lead the Center's work to preserve and enhance wildlife habitats in the Coldwater River Watershed, this includes 2,600 acres of Audubon owned land used for model demonstrations.  A key function is to foster partnerships with watershed landowners and other stakeholders to advance the Center’s conservation vision for the watershed.  Assistance with other aspects of center operations include maintenance of interpretive areas, outreach, educational programs and volunteer management, all while contributing to the spirit of teamwork and pride at the Center. Essential Functions:
  • Oversee and maintain a habitat management plan for the Center lands to improve biodiversity and implement the plan in a cost-efficient manner to model conservation
