Bird Studies Canada is seeking one highly motivated, organized and experienced individual to coordinate volunteer participation in BSC's British Columbia office, in particular the British Columbia Coastal Waterbird and Beached Bird Surveys, the Important Bird Area program, and the Vancouver Urban Birds project. The Programs Coordinator is also responsible, in coordination with other staff in BC and nationally, for assisting in fund-raising for regional programs in BC.

The position is based at the Pacific Wildlife Research Centre in Delta, where the BSC British Columbia Program is co-located with the Canadian Wildlife Service.

The position requires strong volunteer coordination, data management and communication skills (written and oral), experience in statistical analysis
