To assist the ETC-BD’s work in building the knowledge base on biodiversity in support to the implementation of European biodiversity policies.

Function and duties:

To assist the ETC/BD Nature Directives Officers in the provision of scientific and technical support to the implementation of the Nature Directives through proper management of relevant biodiversity data. This includes:

·      Support activities related to the review of formats and guidelines in preparation for the next reporting round under Article 17 of the Habitats Directive and Article 12 of the Birds Directive
