Primary responsibilities of these positions include conducting bias trials and standardized fatality searches beneath wind turbines to locate bird and bat fatalities. Successful candidates must be able to work in a remote field setting, work well both independently and with others, and follow field and data entry protocols. Job duties require use of compass, Global Positioning System devices, and digital cameras. Training will be provided. An average workweek may include 10-20 hours, though some weeks may require shorter or longer hours, depending on the project and seasonal workloads. Housing will not be provided.
