The Biological Sciences Department in the College of Science and Mathematics at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo is seeking a full-time, academic year, tenure track Biological Oceanographer beginning September 2016. The successful candidate will collaborate with members of Cal Poly's multidisciplinary Center for Coastal Marine Sciences (CCMS). Preferred candidate will have research expertise in nearshore biological oceanography and possible sub-discipline interests in: plankton biology, microbial biology, biological applications of remote sensing, or ecological and bio-geochemical modeling.
