  • Completes underwater visual censuses of reef organisms and marine debris accumulation
  • Conducts creel surveys of recreational fishing activity and completes surveys of avian and herpetological resources
  • Implements the parks' invasive lionfish management plan
  • Participates in collaborative research studies and habitat restoration and exotic plan management efforts
  • Responds to wildlife strandings
