The Development Officer is part of a team that ensures the effective implementation of fundraising initiatives to increase the BirdLife Australia's discretionary funding base. This involves: developing potential new sources of funding, assessing supporter gift potential, liaising with supporters including those wishing to make a bequest, coordinating visits to supporters, requests and proposals for donations for specific fundraising priorities, and the ongoing stewardship of supporters.
