The British Antarctic Survey are looking for a temporary Cataloguer to join the Archives Services team. BAS Archives holds records reflecting all aspects of the Survey’s activities since its origins in the 1940s, including a large amount of scientific data. The aim of this role is to catalogue data and records of biologists to a level comparable with similar material already within archives, following recognised professional standards. This position requires an individual with demonstrable knowledge of archival description standards and the principles of archive management, and experience of using archival cataloguing systems/software.
