Beautiful butterflies will once again be fluttering throughout our Hilbert Conservatory this Spring, and part-time Butterfly Keepers will be needed from February through approximately Labor Day to care for them! The pay for this position is $8.00 per hour. Keepers work the exhibit, answering questions for guests, and observing guest/butterfly interactions. You must be able to patiently provide exceptional customer service, and have the ability to learn and explain butterfly behavior. Butterfly Keepers must have excellent interpersonal skills, maintain a professional demeanor, and project a professional appearance due to regular visitor contact, and special events.
