Powdermill Nature Reserve, the biological field station of Carnegie Museum of Natural History located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, seeks a GIS Research Scientist to develop and advance the GIS Laboratory and associated programs . The GIS Research Scientist independently develops geospatial technologies, data, and methods for CMNH research, collections, education, and exhibit initiatives. Technology includes, but is not limited to, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in ecology, and building Web applications that serve complex geospatial data to the public in an attractive and easily accessed manner.
