The Central Appalachians Whole System crosses six chapters of The Nature Conservancy (PA, WV, VA, MD, KY, and TN) and encompasses the biologically diverse and ecologically important Central Appalachian region, a priority of the North America Region. The Central Appalachians Whole System Program Manager will coordinate, and at times lead, unified and integrated efforts with Conservancy staff from the six Central Appalachian states working with the North American and Global programs of the Conservancy to develop whole system scales conservation strategies to conserve the significant diversity, ecological features, and ecological function of the Central Appalachians.
