Main purpose of role: To support the aims and conservation work of the Chiltern Society. Organise and deliver volunteer work parties Support Key Volunteers in site management works Carry out site visits and checks Carry out basic tree safety surveys Carry out risk assessments Assist in writing and updating site management plans Carry out basic habitat mapping and assessments Carry out practical habitat management and estate maintenance work Assist in the preparation and delivery of outreach, events and activities Assist in the creation of publicity material Person specification: Qualifications Qualification/training in countryside management, ecology, wildlife conservation or similar Knowledge & skills Knowledge and understanding of UK habitats and species Know
