This position is based in EIA’s London office. The role is primarily to enhance EIA’s understanding of the global trade in HFCs and ODS (primarily HCFCs), and the key sectors where the chemicals are used, namely air-conditioning, refrigeration, foams, aerosols and fire-fighting.

The Campaigner’s main role will be the analysis of data relating to production, trade and consumption of HFCs and ODS. This will include data on the production and distribution of HFC goods and services, economic and statistical data (e.g. trade data) and company data. The Campaigner will also explain economic aspects, forecast market trends and look for opportunities for the EU F-Gas Regulation to influence the uptake of low-GWP alternatives to HFCs in developing countries.
