The Communications Assistant provides varied administrative support to the Communications Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Communications Assistant performs various administrative tasks, including some or all of the following: answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, scheduling and coordinating logistics of meetings, purchasing, and working with vendors. S/he may assist with the preparation of press releases and information packets. S/he will assist in coordinating outreach/marketing activities and messaging. S/he will use available systems and resources to track media coverage and digital statistics. S/he will provide other staff with information they need to make decisions and solve problems. The Co
