Life’s better with trees

The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. Our vision is a UK rich in native woods and trees for people and wildlife.  Increasingly, pests and diseases are a major threat to the health of the UK’s tree and woodland resource, compounded by other factors such as climate change. Taking a lead in addressing these challenges to achieve more resilient wooded landscapes is a key priority for the Woodland Trust. We do this by building evidence and understanding, lobbying for better biosecurity, and looking for solutions on the ground, including through management of existing woods and creation of new ones.
