Defenders of Wildlife seeks a data specialist to improve the effectiveness of U.S. endangered species conservation by analyzing large and complex datasets relating to endangered species, and communicating the results through reports, interactive online maps and charts, infographics, and other novel and creative media. The specialist will work with a variety of data, including on U.S. endangered species recovery and permitting, voluntary conservation initiatives, climate change impacts on wildlife, ecological status of federal and state lands, and funding patterns for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service.
