Description Conservation International (CI) is seeking candidates for an internship working with a joint CI and International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) team to understand connections among biodiversity, livelihoods and resilience. This unpaid internship will support a team of scientists within the Betty and Gordon Moore Center for Science at CI developing a tool to link IUCN biodiversity data with social and geophysical data in order to understand how biodiversity may influence the resilience of communities to stressors and shocks like drought, flooding, and storm surge, as well as to assess the potential effects of these stressors and shocks on biodiversity.
