The Conservation Planner plays an important role in the conservation, spatial, and land use planning work within TNC Indonesia Terrestrial Program, specifically the TNC’s partnership with one of the largest, most technologically advanced and efficient makers of pulp and paper products in the world. S/he develops spatial decision-making support tools for conservation efforts through conservation, spatial, and land use planning activities. S/he engages various stakeholders in the development of conservation planning analysis S/he works with TNC global, Asia Pacific, and Indonesia teams (in particular Senior Conservation Planner, Natural Resource Planning Manager, and GIS team members) to conduct conservation planning activities by using Development by Design framework.
