ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manage on-grounds research and wildlife monitoring programs with the Urban Wildlife Institute, with specific emphasis on species at Lincoln Park Zoo’s Nature Boardwalk including black-crowned night herons. Develop and coordinate new field studies on zoo-grounds in conjunction with the Urban Wildlife Institute’s mission and strategic objectives. Perform administrative tasks such as report preparation, permit acquisition, and data management for the Urban Wildlife Institute and a new initiative gathering urban wildlife data across the nation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Domestic travel for conferences and field projects; Establish or maintain links with Urban Wildlife Institute partners including other AZ
