This position will work closely with the Institute’s Director to develop the connection of the Institute’s work in the field to the on-zoo-grounds work and education programs, and will also provide administrative support and oversight to the Urban Wildlife Institute and a new nationwide urban wildlife data collection initiative.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage on-grounds research and wildlife monitoring programs with Urban Wildlife Institute, with specific emphasis on species at Lincoln Park Zoo’s Nature Boardwalk including black-crowned night herons.

• Develop and coordinate new field studies on zoo-grounds in conjunction with the Urban Wildlife Institute’s mission and strategic objectives.
