BASIC SUMMARY:
This position provides program and administrative support to two Defenders of Wildlife conservation departments: Landscape Conservation and Endangered Species Conservation. The Coordinator provides support to all staff in both programs, with priorities determined and assigned by the respective Vice Presidents. S/he is responsible for maintaining general knowledge of all key projects within both departments in order to help communicate our work internally and provide administrative assistance. This position also serves as a “trouble-shooter” in helping to solve problems and completing various tasks. Assignments are results-oriented, requiring substantial discretion on the part of the Coordinator in determining how to meet identified goals (e.g., researching a factsheet
