The Wairarapa Moana Wetlands Project is a partnership between the Department of Conservation, Kahangunu ki Wairarapa, Rangitane o Wairarapa, Greater Wellington Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council that aims to protect and restore the Wairarapa Moana Wetland Complex.   A key priority of this role is to coordinate the delivery of ecological management operations to achieve the Project's overall goals and objectives.   This role is part-time (30 hours per fortnight) for one year.   To be successful in this role you will have: A sound knowledge of New Zealand's native and introduced flora and fauna A good understanding of weed impacts and appropriate control techniques Experience working with contractors to deliver biodiversity operations
