We're looking for someone who enjoys the outdoors, has lots of practical skills and wants to work as part of a motivated team of people charged with protecting and enhancing our natural environment.  If this sounds like you then we'd really like to hear from you. Based at Twizel, the primary focus of this role is weed control throughout the Mackenzie Basin, Upper Waitaki and Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. You may also be required to support other work programmes within the wider district or region. The ideal applicant will have:
  • experience controlling environmental weeds
  • a high level of fitness and be comfortable operating alone in the back country
  • experience with GIS applications
  • a current Approved Handlers certificate
