The Rakiura/Stewart Island Office is looking for a capable and diligent Ranger to support the delivery of our local weed control programme. This is a fixed term, part-time position from October 2017 until April 2018, working an average of 24 hours per week for up to 26 weeks. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of field and office based work and with an interest in weed control. You will work as part of a small team focussed on pest plant management in and around the Halfmoon Bay township and Rakiura National Park from contributing to local strategy through to delivering on-the-ground work.
