The Rakiura/Stewart Island Office is looking for three capable and enthusiastic Rangers to support the delivery of the recovery project to protect the critically endangered southern New Zealand dotterel. These are fixed term positions from September 2017 until February 2018. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working in remote backcountry locations for extended periods, undertaking a mixture of predator control, bird monitoring and small maintenance tasks. You will be working as part of a team of 3 temporary rangers dedicated to the delivery of the dotterel recovery project, alongside other Rangers.
