We are looking for a Science Advisor, focusing on protected species bycatch in commercial fisheries, to join our team in Wellington. The Marine Species and Threats team (MST) plays a central role protecting and recovering threatened marine species, either advising, supporting or implementing conservation projects.   The Conservation Services Programme (CSP) – administered by the MST team – undertakes research to understand and extent of interactions between commercial fisheries and protected species and ultimately to find ways of mitigating them.  More information can be found at https://www.doc.govt.nz/csp.   As a Science Advisor in this team you will be responsible for planning and implementing science projects within the CSP.  Your work will involve regular
