The Whangarei District covers the area from Russell Forest in the north, and Mangawhai Wildlife Refuge to the south. The Whangarei Team is based in Raumanga, Whangarei. We are looking for a Biodiversity Ranger who will focus predominantly on pest animal and weed control, and island biosecurity. The work requires strong field and office skills. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with well developed, high quality biodiversity management, monitoring and interpersonal skills.
