POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Landscape Conservation is a new senior position  with overall responsibility for developing and directing a new Appalachian Trail large landscape conservation initiative.  The Director will be responsible for: refining a strategic implementation plan, advancing collaborative partnerships with private and public agencies, fundraising, and building a campaign to protect priority geographic areas within the Appalachian Trail landscape. S/he will report to the Senior Director of Conservation.
