This project is looking for a volunteer research assistants to help with an ongoing Goudveld Baboon project in South Africa. Volunteers will be part of a team and will carry out various tasks such as locating baboons according to known ranging patters and vocalizations and recording data on baboon behaviour and baboon-human interactions. No specific experience is required. This is a great opportunity for those wanting to gain experience in field primatology, animal behaviour, or conservation biology. Volunteer field station fees are R4200 per month (approx. US$320 per month) which includes fully equipped accommodation with kitchen and internet access.
