You will have a minimum of 18 month's experience delivering ecological consultancy work, ideally with a relevant BSc degree (Biology, Zoology, Ecology or Environmental Science). Alternatively, you will have at least three year's experience working as an ecologist in a non-consultancy role e.g. providing planning advice, working for an SNCO/NGO, etc. Skills which are particularly desirable include botanical expertise, a bat survey licence and/or bird survey and identification skills. Survey licences for other species would also be beneficial.
