Tetra Tech is seeking a local, experienced biologist to assist with baseline wildlife surveys in support of a proposed wind farm in Hale and Floyd counties, Texas. The work will involve avian point counts, eagle surveys, ground-based raptor nest surveys and assisting with acoustic bat surveys. Surveys will be conducted for 4.5 consecutive days every other week from the beginning of October 2015 through June 2016, with the possibility of the survey frequency increased to weekly, and survey period extended. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable applicant is found.
