Working in our Sustainability Team, in the planning department, your primary role will be to provide biodiversity and landscape advice to development management, forward plans and property services. You should have a qualification in a relevant environmental discipline (ecology, countryside management etc), combined with significant experience of working on ecological, protected species and countryside issues, preferably within planning. You should have evidence of a ‘can do’ approach to service delivery, and experience of dealing with complex environmental issues. You will also be able to give advice on landscaping and tree matters. You will also need good communication skills, a driving licence, excellent analytical skills and experience of working with GIS.
