This is a new and very exciting opportunity, reporting to the Trust manager you will be responsible for ensuring the protection of remaining key populations of freshwater pearl mussel and the restoration of habitat to support natural recruitment. In addition you will put in place mechanisms to deliver the conditions necessary to secure the long term conservation of this species and communicate with local communities to raise awareness of freshwater pearl mussel conservation. You will be a self-starter and demonstrate a committed, mature and flexible approach to your work.
