Basic function: Friends of the Earth is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to design and implement strategic campaigns to improve the regulatory structure surrounding maritime transport to ensure adequate protection of the air, water and people from shipping pollution with a focus on the Arctic and Northwest regions. The Senior Oceans Campaigner (Shipping) will be part of Friends of the Earth’s Oceans and Vessels program. Responsibilities Develop, lead and implement strategic campaign plans (including research, advocacy, outreach, public education, online and offline organizing, traditional and social media, press monitoring and outreach, narrative development and markets and policy advocacy) in conjunction with the Oceans & Vessels Program Director, Communications te
