This position provides hands-on training and experience with the fundamentals of environmental education best practices, program facilitation, and lesson plan creation. During the summer months, it will focus on either wetland and watershed education, or community outreach and natural interpretation, depending on the internship track. The specific duties of this position will shift depending on the season. March-May, both internship tracks will primarily include in scope: -Planning, developing materials, and facilitating interactive experiences, tours, scout workshops, and other educational programs for visitors at Tracy Aviary. -Facilitating wetland education programs for schools and community groups on-site. -Planning, developing materials for, and teaching children’s spring break camp
