This position will provide GIS support to Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument staff to support all aspects of park management, resources, facilities, and visitor use.  This position involves a variety of GIS work including data collection, data management, map production, and analysis.  In particular, tasks will include:  creating maps about park resources, creating and/or editing GIS data, organizing GIS data in a common data structure, creating metadata for park GIS data, and collecting data in the field using GPS, including post-processing and correcting GPS data.  This position will work with the Intermountain Region GIS Program on implementation of GIS data standards, naming conventions, and NPS GIS data management at the park.  A working knowledge of ArcGIS 10 or h
