Field technicians are needed to assist with Golden Eagle and other raptor nest surveys and monitoring on BLM lands in western Utah from March 2–July 3, 2015. The technicians’ primary duties will involve searching for and monitoring known nests of Golden Eagles in cliff, outcrop, and desert habitats and the recording and entering of nest location and history data. Qualified individuals may also assist with handling and marking of nestling Golden Eagles. Technicians will camp in the field during the majority of the field season (applicants with their own equipment are preferred), but some access to bunkhouse or trailer accommodations may be available.
