The Head of Business and Biodiversity’s main responsibility is to lead the programme in developing and implementing a portfolio of innovative activities which strengthen the way that the private sector understands, avoids and mitigates its impacts on biodiversity and ecosystem services, particularly focused on companies with a direct on-ground footprint;

Specific responsibilities include:

  •  Act as the Centre's primary focal point for liaison and collaboration with the private sector,

    and in particular the extractives industry.

  •  Deliver a portfolio of Business and Biodiversity projects to further the Centre's mission in alignment with the Centre’s Strategy and Business Plan.
