About us: Established in 1975, Hertfordshire’s Countryside Management Service (CMS) was one of the first initiatives of its type in the UK. We work in partnership with landowners and communities to develop projects that enhance the environment for people and wildlife. We also provide opportunities for informal recreation through leading events and guided walks, promoting cycle routes linking towns and the countryside and devising site based leaflets and interpretation. We
