Funded by South West Water as part of the Exmoor Mires Project, Exmoor National Park Authority are working in partnership with government agencies and local community representatives on a project to restore peatlands on Exmoor. This in turn improves flood control, water filtration and carbon storage functions. This will be a key post working alongside specialists and contractors to ensure that Exmoor’s historic environment is safeguarded and enhanced through the activities of the project. The postholder will need a degree in archaeology or related subject and experience in British archaeology, preferably in upland environments.
