Mainly maintenance work- including mowing, invasive species control, building maintenance, etc., but we would also provide interested applicants the opportunity to expand their resume with interesting biological projects throughout the summer.

The Valentine NWR laborer will work with the refuge maintenance staff. Duties may include maintaining fences and water for the refuge grazing program, painting and installing signs, maintaining buildings and water control structures, weed spraying, road maintenance, and tree cutting. Biological aids may also assist the biological staff with biological surveys and projects.
