We are looking for an experienced person to manage and deliver programmes to connect school children and young people with nature. This will be achieved through curriculum-linked education programmes to early years, primary schools, secondary and tertiary students at Strumpshaw Fen reserve. The successful candidate will support and develop learning volunteers and actively promote the reserve learning programmes to schools, early years providers, teachers centres and to Higher Education establishments. Due to the nature of the work we will need successful candidates to be flexible as there will be the need to work more hours during Spring/Summer term-time and less at other times. The contract averages out at 15 hours per week over the year and will be paid as such.
