To deliver the Urban Urchins project, which aims to increase our knowledge and understanding of the current state of Western European hedgehog (the original ‘street urchins’) in London. The Project Officer will train and oversee volunteers undertaking hedgehog surveying and monitoring on five key sites in London, and to coordinate volunteers to carry out habitat enhancements at these sites for the benefit of hedgehogs. The Officer will plan and deliver a series of community engagement events, including public walks and talks, and family learning events, to increase public engagement in and understanding of hedgehogs in London.
