At the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) we licence, regulate and plan marine activities in the seas around England and Wales so that they're carried out in a sustainable way. 

This helps the government achieve its vision for clean, healthy, productive and biologically diverse oceans and seas. As a Marine Officer, you’ll play a leading part in our efforts.

About the role

You will spend a lot of time out and about liaising with stakeholders in this interesting and varied role. Based in one of our coastal offices, you’ll work closely with members of the fishing, recreational and marine development industries as you undertake inspections, collect data and offer guidance
